Job Recovery Not Coming

India is beginning negotiations with the World Trade Organization to ease visa restrictions for Indian professionals. There is some deal-making going on in Geneva. These Geneva talks are a framework for advancing the “Doha Round” of negotiations.

You cannot find much information about these talks in the U.S. press, but by using Google, you can see that in countries throughout the world the Geneva negotiations are very big news. Typically U.S. news does very little reporting on these important trade negotiations.

If the deal goes through, India will lift barriers to farm products and services. In this case, services would include allowing our banks and insurance companies to operate in India.

Developing countries, led by Brazil and India , agreed to lower barriers to manufactured goods and to services.

Of course, the U.S. has to give something in return. In this case, the sacrificial lamb will once again be the American middle-class. India wants unlimited access to our labor markets - and American companies would consider that a very good trade!

If the proposal goes through, the existing quantitative curbs on the movement of Indian engineers, software programmers, scientists, accountants, and other professionals to the US will be removed. This will translate into cheaper labor and more lost American jobs.

Your America

Chances are your America and our politicians America are not the same place. If you are dead center on the earning scale in real-world twenty-first-century America, you make a bit less than $32,000 a year, and $32,000 is not a sum that our politicians have ever associated with “getting by” in this world.

Politicians have never had a job the way you have a job, where not showing up one morning gets you fired, costing you your health benefits. Politicians may find it difficult to relate personally to any of the nearly two million citizens who have recently lost their jobs, or the nearly 12 million who are still out of work. Politicians have never had to worry that they could not afford the best available health care and education for their children.

For them, forty-three million people without health insurance may be no more than a politically inconvenient abstraction. When politicians talk about the economy, they are not talking about your economy. Their economy is filled with rich pals who fly around in their own airplanes. In politician’s economy and world, their friends relocate their companies offshore to avoid paying taxes. Taxes are for chumps like you. You are not a friend. You're the help. When the party our politicians are hosting ends, you'll be left cleaning up the house.

Income Only Taxation

Outsourcing is a huge issue within our nation. American family life is in process of being severely altered by jobs leaving our country. I would say it is on the verge of being destroyed for all but the wealthy. Everyone is talking about it, but I have yet to see anyone offer a viable solution.

I offer this solution, and hopefully I can entice concerned Americans such as yourself, to start talking and writing about it. “An Income Only Tax System” – Now I know that Forbes talked about it, and some other note-worthy folks. However, they never discussed what United Citizens of America is proposing. Prior income only systems only focused at the national level. These systems mainly catered to the Rich. A true income only tax system should cater to everyone, at every level, and that is what we are fighting for at the United Citizens of America organization.

If you are concerned about jobs leaving our country – Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System. It will force politicians to pass laws that favor you and every other American citizen.

If you are concerned about the economy – Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System. It will keep more money in your pocket, and statistics show that you will spend it, which will spur the economy to new heights.

If you are concerned about politicians abusing tax funds – Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System. It will force politicians to follow a budget that is accountable to you and every other American citizen.

If you are concerned about tax referendums within your district - Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System. It will ensure frugality within budget planning processes and limit their wasteful spending habits.

If you are concerned about abusive school boards - Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System. It will scare away the scandalous people and unions who seek to steal your money for their own benefit.

If you are concerned about Village, Town, and City abuses of tax funds - Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System. It will force them to plan and spend intelligently.

If you are concerned about the future tax burdens for your children, grand children, and every generation that shall follow you - Then you need to support an Income Only Taxation System - the only system that will lead them out of financial slavery. An Income Only Taxation System will force fiscal responsibility upon the people we are trusting to spend our money, it will increase jobs in our nation, it will initiate a thriving economy, and it will help the average American to take care of their family.

If you like paying a combined 43% tax burden – or working 4 hours a day just to pay your current tax requirements – or watching politicians and school boards getting rich off your tax earnings – or jobs being sent overseas - Then do nothing.

HB750 Affect on Communities

HB750 basically reduces your education portion of your homeowners tax, and instead raises sales tax and corporate taxes to compensate. In application, it is a pseudo consumption tax system and a pre-requisite to the national sales tax initiative that organizations are bribing our politicians to pass.

What they don’t tell you is that HB750 is flawed. Little is said about the impact to the business and job environment of increasing corporate tax by 60%, adding sales tax to many services, and removing business incentives within communities. It is a recipe for more layoffs as business will either move to more favorable profit locations, layoff staffing to offset tax increases, and increase prices to astronomical levels. In addition, you will no longer have a vote in saying no to new taxes. When they want more, they will increase business tax, which in turn will increase prices on the merchandise they sell, which means you are still footing the tax bill, but now you will no longer have a voice within the process. A Tax is a Tax, even if it is indirect.

This is a sick way of getting around Senior citizens who usually vote down referendum tax hikes, and bypassing Parents who demand fiscal responsibility from our community representatives. Seniors don’t vote no because they no longer have children within the districts, they vote no because they feel there is too much waste and would like to see it reduced before they vote away more of their money. HB750 will take their voice away.
